I was at the Pepperdine game, right behind the UCLA bench. Dent wore a hoody warming up and and when he was on the bench, and he missed a bunch of uncontested layups early on. Hopefully, a week of rest will help him.
The bigger problem is the inconsistent defense. A lot of that can be attributed to guys still learning new responsibibities on D; Dent being asked to play more D than he did at New Mexico, and Booker and Biladeau learing to play D in new positions.
I'm not as worried about the offense. The Bruins have pretty consistently got good quality shots off; they just didn't go in as much we'd like (or they'd like for that matter). I'm confident that will fix itself in due course.
Wish I could watch the game but Peacock sucks. I won't make the mistake of signing up with them again.
