UCLA also leads NCAA D1 in offensive efficiency, per Torvik, at 118.6 points per 100 possessions. Almost a full point better than 2nd place South Carolina.
Also from Torvik, Betts is virtually tied with Rice in assist rate, with both around 24%. Leger-Walker leads at almost 31%. The Bruins have a ridiculous team assist rate of 69.9%. That's "only" #22 in NCAA D1 but none of the other teams close in offensive efficiency.
And this a team that's still integrating new players and two other expected key contributors yet to play due to injury.
