"purge" implies intent, this was more an evacuation, a small flood of players in search of more playing time next season. I seriously doubt Close & Co. was happy to lose those kids, especially Aarnisalo. I keep seeing that Close is recruiting through the portal but it all seems to be hinging on Kneepkens who has four official visits with UCLA being her final one. We also badly need more quickness on the perimeter, especially after Jones' departure.
