"Is Smith out there playing point guard in league games?"

Huh? Alford is saying he might be.

"This is a terrible loss, and we do not have anyone to replace Campbell, so we'll just have to play Hands 38 minutes a game there"? Then everyone can blame CSA for not having any other thoughts?"

I didnt realize it was a binary choice to either say Chris is the guy or what you spewed above. The answer to me is, "Losing Tyger is a big blow to what we had anticipated for 18-19. We will have to mix and match our lineup and see how this all plays out. Obviously we expect Hands to have an exceptional year. I expect Bernard, and Singleton to aid Jaylen if he gets in foul trouble and when he needs a blow. In addition, Wilkes and Smith might be able to help out in a pinch."

"I assume that if Smith is completely incapable of playing even spot minutes at PG, it will be obvious."

Based only on last year, it is obvious.

"Actually, CSA is pretty good at adapting to players being out, up to a point, of course."

Any examples you'd like to highlight? I really cant think of any. We have been very lucky the last few years to not suffer any significant injuries.
