(1) When you're behind by maybe 10 points late in the game the only way you can catch up is by hitting some threes.
(2) Defense is a team concept. it's not just one guy guarding another guy. Cronin knows how to adjust for that.
(3) Yours is the worst case scenario assuming that the three-point shooters can't play any defense at all. Not necessarily true.
