It's all of our business. Since the site owner lost interest in moderating years ago, we have to police ourselves. What if you spent a lot of time writing a comment on a post and it disappeared within a day? It's not just annoying. It's selfish and affects all of us.
Again, nobody is telling him not to post this information. It's just the way he does it that excludes many other informative posts from the page.
We started out asking nicely, but he ignored us. Now I think he's doing it just to spite his critics. He's the one being unkind and disrespectful.
