Yep, the money (and therefor wins, success) will coalesce around an ever shrinking pool of schools. But, that is no reason to keep young athletes in a form of indentured servitude being bound to a particular school. My enjoyment shouldn't limit their opportunities.

On the upside, the recent tourneys seem to me to reflect that it's as much about the team, as the individuals. Like, that kid that played from Alabama that had been at ND State. Was there a big bidding war for him? His stats and NDSU weren't that great. The competition on the court will still largely be driven by how you build a team.

This year's poster teams for player Star Power were KU and Duke. KU stepped on the d*cks in the first round. Duke made the elite 8 and now all their players are leaving.

I don't think it's going to be as bad as you do. But, even if it is, there is no moral justification for locking kids into schools.
