They used to be called the Jail Blazers because of the criminal problems. That does not even get into the claimed problems with Oregon and OSU athletes. Just bizarre.
That said, it does seem like it is a convenient excuse to say McLemore's going overseas to play ball delayed the investigation. He was playing in Oregon when the accusation was made. He was available to investigators during that period of time. He did not start to play overseas until the following year.
