While we certainly don't have a knock down guy I would not say we have a huge deficiency in that area. Andrews really found his shot, Lazar has been up and down, but is not a bad shooter, and bringing in a couple of guys who can also hit them.

Clark 35%
Dailey 33%

I feel there are two important aspects to 3 point shooting that should not be overlooked. The first is confidence. When you're missing it's tough to shake that. Secondly is offensive flow. Much easier to take a 3 in rhythm, within the flow of an offense. Last year many of our 3's were rushed, last second, or forced. Which of course leads to misses which of course lead to confidence issues. Losing doesn't help and we did our fair share of that as well. Just my opinion but it looks like they are bringing in guys that can get their own shots, that can break down a defense. I'm hoping this will improve our open looks. My guess is Singleton would not have shot the percentage he did if JJJ was not drawing so much attention inside and Tyger was not getting into the lane.

An experienced big and a knock down shooter wouldn't hurt as long as that knock down guy was not a deficit on defense. Because we've seen that show before as well. Doesn't help to be an outside threat when you're getting cooked on the other end. Cronin's system is built on defensive stops. If we're not doing that first, everything else will fail. The good news is all these guys they are bringing in can defend.
