I'm sure Dr Rivers doesn't know only his son went through AAU. The 1 to 5 practices vs games vs 5 to 1 in Europe are his comments.
I'm sure the AAU coach I quoted didn't know. He was proud that his ratio of 8 hours of practice to 1 tournament was considered a high practice ratio.
I'm sure when AI goes and searches the web and predominately finds comments of too many games, too few practices are wrong.
I'm sure Adam Silver who has actually researched the impact of AAU is wrong.
