BYU had a winning record and made the NCAA tournament in the #1 ranked conference in NET ratings with only one player who was ranked in high school. That player averaged three points a game at Arkansas before he transferred to BYU.
Give him some talent and see what he can do. You can't just look at a coaches' record. You have to see how much he gets out of his players. Cal underachieved this past season. Pope overachieved.
