I may be in the minority. It seems to me that if a player has spent his undergraduate time at a specific school, has graduated, and still has a year of eligibility left that year should be at the same school. Just because an athlete has graduated before his eligibility has been completed should not release him to transfer without having the same rules apply as an undergraduate transfer.
Whether it is at the collegiate level or interscholastic level the rich keep getting richer. High schools play all sorts of "games" getting athletes to transfer in. Let's get back to the business of education in high school and student/athlete in college.
