i was remembering wide open hooks that are too hard and too flat - the ones Phil mentioned bouncing off the rim. It's a different mindset - working to get his shot off and looking to put it up soft enough and with enough arc to have a chance to go in even if it isn't perfect. Just how smooth Edey's shot is - like putting an egg into a carton - from several feet away. Softest touch I've seen Just wishing that Aday will take that as his model - not just to get his shot off but to try to emulate that particular shot. At 7'3" it's a natural for him if he gets his head right about it and puts in the practice
