shoot it on such a flat trajectory. When he misses, it normally hits the back or front of the rim with a little more force than necessary. For big men, those types of things normally comes with maturity and experience. He has probably been told that already this year but just needs to work a lot on it (many more reps) to get the right feel. Short shots like that are just a "feel" thing. And Edey certainly has that feel--but he didn't have it as good as he does now when he was a freshman.
