62% at the rim? That's laughably bad. But ok.

There are 360 cbb d1 teams. With 10 guys per, that's 3600 cbb players.

Meanwhile, there are 30 nba teams and 15 players per. That's 450 players. So it's not surprising that the nba players are far more elite offensively than cbb players.

Anecdotally, I "see" more whistle to whistle defensive intensity when I watch cbb than u do when I watch nba games. 1st q scores are often 37-36, or 40-35. That's a whole half of cbb hoop.

Nba teams ratchet up the d intensity if they fall 20ish pts behind, or in the last 6 to 8 minutes of the 4th q. Otherwise, they're mostly ok trading baskets until crunch time.
