I think all of our guys will improve significantly to next season. if we kept everyone, I'd bet we'd improve as a team, massively. Hence, I'm in the never popular "stand pat" club.
However, it seems very unlikely that both Bona and Mara stay. So, I'd be scouring the portal for the best available 5.
This is an honest question, as I don't get to watch CBB as much as I'd like. Are "Power forwards" eve na thing in cbb anymore? My impression is that they are all "stretch 4"s.
Is there even a Power Forward out there to poach? I think it would be difficult for us to improve on where Berke, undersized Brandon, and underweight Devin project to. I would wildly guess that our best option next year for what you want the power forward for will be Devin.
And, imo, there will be significant improvement from our backcourt next season. DA was skyrocketing, Mack has so much he can add to his came, staring with perimeter shooting, Will is still recovering, and I wouldn't bet against Vide being a decent 4th guard next year.
To me, My priority would be scouting for a center or two, incase we lose Mara/Bona. And, that's it.

And, I come back to the experience level of the elite 8 teams. Avg guy has almost 4 years experience including current year. At the end of next year, we'll be at a like 2.5 years. We'd set up great for 2026. Great. Not just that the guys will be that old, but that they'd be very talented guys with experience. On that note, when I was looking at the experience level, I also saw a lot of guys that were portals. But, almost to the man, they weren't washouts at big schools, they were guys climbing the ladder from lower schools. If we're going to look in the portal, that's who we should look for.
