I’m surprised at your answer. You know that playing the probabilities does not guarantee the outcome, it just puts one in the best position to win. Just because one should hit on 16 when the dealer shows a face doesn’t mean you win every time.
Bama played one of the top SOS in the country, of course they are going to lose some game. It’s been nearly 50 years since Indiana went undefeated. It sounds like many Bama fans would tell you that the reason they are playing so much better now is that the new 7 players have finally begun playing some D.
I prefer UConn as well, but you compare others to arguably the best team in 20 years. I bet you find a pretty similar shot chart for UConn. Anecdotally, I don’t recall many midrange shots. It’s all dunks, paint and 3s.
I think Bama plays a much more pleasing style than say, Virginia, ucla. To me, to quote you is “boring af”. They move the ball with purpose, they cut to the hoop, but they also cut to the 3 point line. I enjoy watching Bama play.
