They sometimes play down the competition - see losses at OSU, blowout loss at Stanford, the loss at SC (though they had clinched the regular season title by then). The home game with UCLA they were down 19 - not acceptable. The pac12 semi against oregon when a #1 seed was still on the line.
So far so good but yes it definitely plays on my mind.
