another reffing decision affecting another game

after last night when a trailing official with a bad view called a phantom foul that cost Samford a chance to win their game over Kansas, in today's FLA Atlantic-Northwestern game, after contact under the FLA All basket, the FLA A player went to the floor with no foul called and NW drove up court 5 against 4 with a four point lead about 3 minutes to go. An official blew his whistle to stop the NW fast break as he crossed the half court line rather than allowing the offensive possession to finish before doing so as per the rules.

With play stopped, the fallen FA player was helped to his feet and seemed fine. The officials took the opportunity to review the play and belatedly ruled a flagrant one on Northwestern - two FTs and FA closed to within two.

As I write under 2 to play NW has hit a cold spell and the score is tied
