Of his 335 FG attempts this year, 327 have been threes. He's a 24 year old transfer from of all places, Hillsdale College (I didn't know they had a basketball team). One thing that seems to be fairly evident these days is that older teams with talented transfers generally are more disciplined and confident and don't freeze up under pressure like many of the 18 year old players do.
With NIL and the Portal, I don't believe we will see a lot of the freshman/sophs dominated teams winning a lot of tournaments like some have in the past. With many teams from all levels (and not necessarily only teams from the power conferences) stocking up with much more mature and skilled players as their core group, these types of upsets will happen more frequently. That's how I see the direction of this game moving.
