These are not great reasons, but they are my reasons.
We've got three 4's on the roster already. Berke, Devin, and Brandon. (Irrelevant, but I think Bona is a 4, and if Mara can develop or if we can bring in a 5, I'd like to see him play some minutes as a 4).
There is no reason all of the 3 can't take a great leap forward. Imo, Berke has probably been hampered by injury all season. Devin will get stronger, and Brandon, the starter, will improve too. I'd guess that the plan is for Brandon to slide over to the 3 when Laz grads. But, that's not a consideration for next season.
