I hear you - reasonable takes. imo this season was a matter of inexperience and youth primarily. That affects lots of things - all those close games - coming close but not getting over the hump, doing well for a half and then not holding up. And I think Mack - healthy and with this year behind him - will be a better shooter next year and Andrews will pick up where he left off. Hopefully Freeny will contribute some on offense as a freshman also. A healthy Stefanovic, against with the transition year behind him and hopefully getting a bit more rest nest year, will be fine. The questions are Bona's return and the 4 spot for which they have three young candidates - Buyuktuncel, B Williams and D Williams. Only Berke seems like he could add scoring to the size and rebounding mix but then there's still the portal.

I hear you - Bona's decision I think depends on how he and his team feel about improving his offense with one more year and how much importance they give to getting into the first round of the draft - starting the clock on getting to the second contract or perhaps making more money and trying to up his draft stock with one more year. Certainly he's the key.

We'll see how it works out. (I do tend to place a high value on experience as well as home court advantage. We'll see if I'm wrong but I did find our performance in the Pac-12 tournament heartening for the future
