Other than being a fan, it’s hard to come to your conclusions. UCLA had a net over 100 AND was sub 500. We played in a real bad conference. Yeah, sometimes players progress, other times they are just no high level players.
Obviously, Bona will be the key, but I have no clue why he would stay. He’s always been a good defender so what exactly is Cronin going to develop? Cronin isn’t going to develop him from an offensive standpoint. Get drafted and learn how to play NBA ball. His draft stock isn’t going to rise….any perceived development will be offset by staying so long in college. He has pretty good size (based on his standing reach) and athleticism. He needs to work on his jumper, but that isn’t going to happen at UCLA.
