Berke got pulled after one play because of a defensive lapse. Mara hedged a high screen and his man rolled to the basket. Berke was supposed to rotate over to cover Mara's man until he could recover, but he didn't. This led to a wide open dunk. Cronin immediately pulled him. He didn't return until the last play or two of the game.
Also, Berke played only 5 minutes in the previous game. I'm not sure, but I think he got pulled twice for similar mistakes in that game.
