had to be "get a shot off" before time runs out. Passing the ball wasn't in his mind as an option, IMO. The replay showed Bona open but time may have run out before the pass to him for a dunk could have been completed. But unfortunately, we will never know for sure. On the replay, it did look like, after time had expired, that Bona had a pained look on his face as he approached Andrews and said something to him-- possibly regarding him being open.
